Let’s be honest, life can really hard sometimes.  It can be lonely.  It can be filled with suffering and sorrow. We’re hurting and it feels like people just walk on by.  We feel like we’ve got nowhere to turn and no one to talk to.  We’ve all been there.  We’ve all felt this way.  BUT THERE IS HOPE!  

Forget about tornadoes and hurricanes – most of the storms in our lives have nothing to do with the weather.  The worst storms in our lives are divorce, unplanned pregnancies, lost jobs, rebellious children.  These storms are every bit as real and even more damaging than any weather pattern we see in the sky.  BUT THERE IS HOPE! 

Friends will fail you. Family will leave you.  Bosses will fire  you.  So where do you turn for love, for support, for guidance and direction?  When man fails us, where can we look?  In the Bible we read, “The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.  Do not fear or be dismayed” (Deuteronomy 31:8).  THIS IS OUR HOPE!  Even when everyone else in the world seems to have failed us, this is the God who sustains us.  This is the God who sent His only Son, Jesus, to come to earth and die for us and take away our sins.  THIS IS OUR HOPE!

If you’re feeling lost; if you’re feeling lonely; if you’re feeling confused or stressed or abandoned or in need of direction, please, please come see us.  Come visit us.  We’re not perfect.  We still sin.  And no doubt at times you’ll feel like we have failed you.  But come anyway.  Come and be loved, cared for, encouraged. Come and be taught about who God is and what He’s done for YOU through His Son Jesus.  Like we said, we’re not a perfect church, but we are a church that will care for you.  We’re not a perfect church, but we’ll do everything we can to tell you the truth of God with love.Jesus once said, “Come unto Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30). Are you weary and heavy-laden by the cares of this world?  Then come, let us help you find rest for your soul!
